Considering that the first Dictators album came out in 1975, scads of credit is due these hearty pre-punk New Yorkers for blazing a long trail, melding the essentials of junk culture--wrestling, fast food, TV, beer, dope, cars, scandal sheets--with loud/hard/fast rock'n'roll and thus creating an archetype that has been adopted and adapted by countless other bands.
Originally formed as an homage/response to the MC5, Flamin Groovies, New York Dolls and the Stooges, the Dictators wound up playing a similarly crucial and inspirational role to the generations that followed them.
Produced by the Sandy Pearlman/Murray Krugman team responsible for the Blue Oyster Cult, The Dictators Go Girl Crazy! is a wickedly funny, brilliantly played and hopelessly naïve masterpiece of self-indulgent smartass rock'n'roll, pre-indie-rock proof that regular kids could make the major-label record.
Now the Dictators are back with original members Andy Shernoff and Ross “The Boss” Friedman along with former Blue Oyster Cult drummer Albert Bouchard and Frankenstein 3000 guitarist/vocalist Keith Roth.
They have already wowed fans with the new singles “Let’s Put The Band Back Together” and “Thank You And Have A Nice Day” and are ready to continue their 50 year legacy as one of the greatest pre-punk bands ever.

Paradise Found: Bat Out Of Hell Reignited reimagines the sound, passion, and fury of the original Bat Out of Hell, the 1977 release by Meat Loaf and composer Jim Steinman which remains in the top five best-selling albums of all time. It includes all seven songs performed in their original order.
The song arrangements have developed over decades of touring and now the listener can hear these re-envisioned versions.
Paradise Found features performances by world-class alumni of the Neverland Express including, Justin Avery, (keyboard, vocals), Tom Brislin (orchestration), Steve Buslowe (bass), Paul Crook (guitar), Randy Flowers (guitar), David Luther (saxophone), Lyssa Lynne (“Stop Right There!”) , John Miceli (drums), and Caleb Johnson (American Idol winner, season 13) deliver powerful lead vocal performances across all seven songs. “This album has been a labor of love for us,” states Crook.

This hidden gem is remastered and repackaged along with bonus tracks "Bang A Gong (Live)" and "I'm Electric (Original Studio Recording)".
Richard Black was once known as the "King of the Sunset Strip". Shark Island was also the house band at the world famous Gazzari’s on the Sunset Strip, Bill Gazzari even helped produce their first single. Signed to Epic Records in 1989 the band released their debut album "Law of the Order", and also saw the tracks "Dangerous" and "Father Time" featured in the movie Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, as well as the song "My City" from the movie Point Break. Richard would go to be part of the short-lived supergroup Contraband which also featured Michael Schenker (Scorpions, UFO), and member of L.A. Guns, Ratt and Vixen.
They released one album in 1991 before disbanding. Shark Island was resurrected in 2005 and recorded and released the album "Gathering of the Faithful" in 2006 and followed it up with "Bloodline" in 2018. The band then teamed up with Deko Entertainment for the 2020 expanded release of "Bloodline 2.020" and now have resurrected their long lost self-released debut "S'Cool Bus" for this re-packaged "Deluxe Edition".
Taking you back to the beginning with tracks produced by Rick Derringer and previously unreleased tracks, including a blistering live version of "Bang A Gong" and the original studio recording of "I’m Electric" A must have for Shark Island fans!

Visit product page →Michael Hutchence and 80’s Rock! Michael Kelland Hutchence was the co-founder, lead singer, and lyricist of the rock band INXS from 1977 until his death in 1997.
The band sold over 50 million records worldwide and was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2001. A decade or so after Michael’s death a number of unreleased ideas surfaced in a tape locker in London.
This was material Michael’s IP company had financed and that he had been developing for his solo endeavour. In going through the ideas, it became apparent this would be something worth exploring, starting with “Friction” and what became “ One-Way”.
Producer Danny Saber (Rolling Stones, Ozzy Osbourne, Madonna, Seal, etc...) began the process of producing finished masters.
The result is this Limited-Edition Red vinyl picture disc with the aforementioned “One Way” and B-side “Save My Life”. This is a true piece of musical history and will forever solidify Michael Kelland Hutchence as the brilliant singer/songwriter he is.Tracklisting:
