Two worlds collide in this unconventional collaboration between a Punk Rock Pioneer and an Avant Garde composer. The result is Shagbarn, a collective of friends and neighbours from near and far. Gathered by Derwood Andrews ( Generation X and beyond) and Julian Calv (Moondog devotee).

With a foundation of Calv's Trimba and the hypnotic scenes of vocals, guitars, carefully chosen words and instruments, the album Solid Gold Timepiece glides through the history of American music and its core inspirations from Europe.

and flavors of Celtic blues and classical folk litter the Moondog beats. Close your eyes and see the music for what it is, in real time. A future classic for today made by virtual nobody's, for nobody in particular. Andrews originally helped shape the Punk Rock movement alongside Billy Idol with two pioneering albums by Generation X, the self-titled Generation X (1978), which reached No. 29 in the UK Albums Chart, followed by Valley of the Dolls (1979) , and now resides in California making music by his own rules.
