Motorpsycho 'Heavy Metal Fruit'

It's quite extraordinary for a band twenty years into their career to deliver a string of three great albums in under two years, like Motorpsycho have done with Little Lucid Moments, Child Of The Future and now Heavy Metal Fruit.

Together with Kåre Chr Vestrheim, who co-produced it with Bent Sæther, they have made a varied and dynamic album that shows the many sides of a band that has become an institution in Norwegian music without losing any of their vitality, creativity and integrity.

Here we get metal, classic rock, moogs, mellotrons, prog, psychedelia, westcoast harmonies and jazzy instrumental parts before ending it all with the 20 minute majestic Gullible's Travails, quite possibly the finest piece of music they have ever commited to record.

Guests are Jaga Jazzist trumpeter Mathias Eick and singer Hanne Hukkelberg.
