David Sancious 'The Bridge'

Long regarded as one of the premier musicians in the world, David Sancious was a founding member of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band; he toured and recorded with Peter Gabriel, Sting, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Santana, Seal and a long list of A-level musicians.

“This album features what has always been my first love; the Piano. It consists mainly of piano improvisations. The remaining pieces, while having some overdubs, are all constructed upon piano improvisations.

The use of percussion is purposely absent (with a few minor exceptions) in order to highlight the silence in between the notes so the tone of the piano itself creates a certain desired effect.” – David Sancious
