JuJu is the brainchild of Sicilian multi-instrumentalist Gioele Valenti (Lay Llamas, Herself).
Having now signed to Fuzz Club Records, the project is set to release the sophomore LP Our Mother Was A Plant' - the follow-up to 2016s S/T debut that was widely hailed as one of the most innovative psych albums of the year.
Carrying on in its predecessor's footsteps, the new LP is a continuation of JuJu's ritualistic sonic exploration into the cultural implications of the current refugee crisis, humanities increasingly strained relationship with Mother Earth and neo-pagan mythology.
Even more adventurous than the last, JuJu has changed the game for modern psychedelia once again.
Calling it just a psych'record would be an injustice though, JuJu's shamanic, lysergic mantras are influenced just as much by afrobeat, krautrock, glam, post-punk, art rock, drone and just about everything in between.

It's easy to guess Acid Baby Jesus'shtick just going on their name but to those who aren't already in the know: don't be fooled into thinking these are just another quasi-religious, LSD-loving psych-rock band - there's a reason these Greek garage-rockers have been championed so highly in the European scene.
Acid Baby Jesus are less concerned with the spiritual and tripped-out realms that their name foreshadows than they are with pure hip-shaking, rock'n'roll hedonism. After a long three-year wait the Athens four-piece are back with their third album Lilac Days' - their first on Fuzz Club Records.
The LP sees ABJ at their best; their frenetic garage-rock distilling a hazy mix of 60s Western psychedelic pop, traditional Eastern folk and the scuzzy R'n'R sounds of The Stooges or Brian Jonestown Massacre.

Black Smoke Rising is the debut album from Swedish psych wanderers The Orange Revival. Originally self-released by the band back in 2011, Fuzz Club Records are reissuing the LP for the first time since it immediately sold out first time around.
With its hypnotic 60s guitars, droning vintage organs and swaggering vocals it's a tripped out, desert-rock ode to the Stones, Brian Jonestown Massacre and Spacemen 3.

Mixed by Loop's original drummer/producer John Wills, originally released in 2015 on Minneapolis-based label Picture In My Ear and added to The Committee To Keep Music Evil catalogue.
The leitmotif for the album's imaginary comes from Maya Deren's surrealistic films together with the Patent Medicines'period.

The debut LP from Australian duo The Black Ryder - Buy The Ticket, Take The Ride'- was originally released in 2009 to wide-spread acclaim and Fuzz Club is delighted to be giving the LP a deluxe re-issue.
There aren't many bands who have managed to truly capture the swirling, kaleidoscopic sounds of the 80s but The Black Ryder are undoubtedly one of them. Originally released on Foolica in 2012, the album's main theme is the time conception, with a transitional journey: the deeper darkest place is reached and lighted by the farther brightest points.

LA trio The Entrance Band (ft. members of Pixies, A Perfect Circle, QOTSA) are the latest addition to the Fuzz Club Sessions'series - the warm, analog recording allowing their tripped out blues to shine in all its lysergic glory. As with all Fuzz Club Sessions the album is recorded live and onto 2' tape.
The LP is made up of three brand new improvised jams that see their warped groove-ridden psychedelia at its best, as well as a woozy downtempo rendition of The Seeds'Can't Seem To Make You Mine'. These new jams mark a distinct difference from the howling acid-rock numbers seen on previous albums, instead offering a totally hypnotic and dreamy journey through their majestic psychedelic prowess.

Las Cobras are a duo hailing from Canelones, Uruguay. Despite being a totally new band, forming in the summer of 2016, this album is certain to pin the duo firmly on the radars for psych-heads across the globe.
The album itself is influenced as much by psych/krautrock greats a la BJM and Suicide as it is wildly immersed in the lysergic sounds of South America - at times delving into lush and textured afro-beat and tropicalia influences.
Fully immersed in their Latin roots, their groove-ridden and mystical psychedelia is utterly enthralling - it's a hypnotic journey through warped synths, tropic percussion, lysergic bass-lines, smoky vocals and chiming, fuzzed-out guitars.

Sweden's long been seen as a leading output in European pop music but if you look a little deeper then you'll find it's equally rooted in the dark and obscure. It's the latest offering comes in the shape of NONN - a brand new post-punk/coldwave project who's debut S/T album will be released on Fuzz Club.
Born out of a cold, desolate winter in a corner of Stockholm, NONN's icy surroundings inevitably became a huge influence on these recordings - blurring the line between sharp, glacial post-punk and the industrial electronic sounds of the 80s.
The tracks are influenced as much by Kraftwerk, Movement-era New Order and Suicide as they are akin to modern outfits such as label-mates The Underground Youth and Throw Down Bones.

During a riotous UK tour early last year, Grand Rapids four-piece Heaters spent a day off in a South London studio to lay down a live album - the result is the bands incredible and totally debauched addition the Fuzz Club Session'series.

Iceland's Singapore Sling formed in 2000 and are highly lauded as one of the innovators of experimental psychedelia and rock and roll as we currently know it.

What Kind Of Dystopian Hellhole Is This? (Released 15/02/17) is the eighth LP from Berlin-via-Manchester based psych/post-punk outfit The Underground Youth, and it's arguably their most accomplished yet.
Perhaps what is most exceptional about The Underground Youth is their ability to create a brooding melting pot of Berlin chillwave, post-punk, folk, goth and shoegaze but delivered with a dreamy pop sensibility.

'Sorrow Tomorrow' is the second LP from Mexico's Has A Shadow, and the first to be released on Fuzz Club Records, with an official release date of January 18th.
Rumbling in on dark storm clouds from Guadalajara, Mexico their new release is an adrenaline-fuelled rush of eerie gothic organs, motorik bass-lines, marching percussion, squalls of chiming, fuzz-ridden guitars and the atonal, ritualistic chants of vocalist Daniel Garciano. Imagine an unholy, dirty mix of Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Suicide and Darklands-era Jesus and Mary Chain - this is a hauntingly good exercise in dark and ritualistic post-punk with an immersive gothic slant.

The latest bands to join the Fuzz Club Split Single alumni are London-based The Oscillation and the Portuguese 10,000 Russos. Both bands have been Fuzz Club favourites for a long time so the label is extremely excited to share this behemoth of a split single, offering 14 minutes of brooding, fuzzed-out psychedelia.
One side belongs to The Oscillation and their industrial and menacing cut Almost See'. The track is propelled by an unremitting gothic bass-line that roils through a sinister wash of celestial noise, stabs of fuzzed-out guitars, inaudible murmurs and discordant synths - making for a truly immersive, yet eerily foreboding, piece of psychedelia.
The Oscillation formed in 2006 out of the ashes of the critically acclaimed The Orichalc Phase and have an extremely fruitful back-catalogue behind them, boasting 15 different releases.
10,000 Russos'Ashkenasi'is near-on seven minutes of droning, mystical psych. Both atmospheric and primal, and propelled with a stomping mantra, the Portuguese trio conjure up dark motorik rhythms with their use of incessant, minimalistic percussion, screeching electronic dissonance, white noise and otherworldly guitars submerged in fuzz.
Take this and add the enchanting, ritualistic vocals of João Pimenta and it's not hard to see why 10,000 Russos have been making their mark in European psych since the release of their self-titled on Fuzz Club in 2015.

Repress of The Underground Youths sixth studio LP The Perfect Enemy for God. The album showcasing a clear influence of post-punk and shoegaze, the record feels lethargic in the best way as reverb-soaked vocals and whimsical harmonies blur over jangly, shimmering guitars to tell a bittersweet story.
It's easy to get lost in this record as you find yourself being thrown between the dark, longing corners of one track - such as 'Tokyo Blue's' forlorn guitars and eerie harmonies - and the upbeat pop sensibilities of others - like 'Rodion's' jingle-esque melody.
Produced by Dyer himself, the incredible production of this album heightens its allure as copious amounts of reverb, harmonies, and perfect use of dynamics send you into a dreamy haze from the first listen. The Perfect Enemy for God is being repressed onto 180g heavy ultra-clear vinyl (700 copies).

Formed in Aarhus, Denmark in 2007, Tales of Murder and Dust have mutated from the psych-surf debut of Peyote (2009) into a noisy post-rock behemoth. Following the critically acclaimed Hallucination of Beauty (2012) album and follow up EP Skeletons Flowers, their new album The Flow In Between sees them lead us down far darker paths.
Forged on a desolate island called Mors, which translates from Latin to 'Death', the isolated location seeped deep into Tales of Murder and Dust's latest offering.
The Danish five piece have produced a bleak but beautiful psych classic with The Flow In Between. The Scandinavian's most expansive release to date, it embraces opiate blues, drone rock, orchestral swathes and New York no wave experimentalism whilst seamlessly drifting from pummelling noise to orchestral fragility.
There is a longing melancholia lurking beneath the surface which is deeply raw and affecting making this album to modern psych what Joy Division's Closer was to the eighties. A bleak but beautiful psych classic, the Danish group's third release is available on 180g heavy ultra clear vinyl, limited to 500 copies.

Dead Skeletons Live in Berlin, which will be released March 9th. Their first release in two years, the album captures a performance at Berlin's iconic SO36. This unique show, full of celebratory energy, marked the release of their double A side for 'Om Varja Sattva Hung/Dead Comet' in the birth place of their own label, Dead Monk Records. It also saw the club revived especially for this performance.
To their fans, Dead Skeletons are more than a band, they are rock n roll spirit guides, exploring the depths of light and dark, life and death, and all the spaces in-between. Powered by their Dead Mantra' - 'He who fears death cannot enjoy life' - Dead Skeletons are a celebration of the self, on the same enlightening spiritual path first trod by free jazz experimentalists Albert Ayler and John Coltrane. The Berlin show captured on this record begins with calm, floating drones that could have been forged in the tranquillity of Iceland's glaciers.
Then the skeletal guitar line of 'Om Varja Sattva Hung' slices in propelled by a relentless motoric rhythm. The driving, precise beats throb like German Krautrockers Neu! or La Dusseldorf. Although Dead Skeletons are in search of spiritual answers, they also rock.
Like Buddhist Stooges, theirs is a raw and propulsive psych. They get down and dirty on 'Psycho Dead' with a sleazy bass line reminiscent of New York duo Suicide's classic 'Johnny', seeping with edge, danger and attitude.

Tales of Murder and Dust are a Danish band and undoubtedly favourites of Fuzz Club's, on the first listen it's not hard to see why. Hallucination of Beauty'was their first LP, originally independently released back in March 2012.
London label Fuzz Club are excited to be giving the LP a long-overdue vinyl re-issue. Formed in 2007, Aarhus based Tales of Murder and Dust play a dark, experimental mixture of psychedelic rock and shoegaze wrapped in an otherworldly, cinematic sound merging noisy guitars, violin, organ and sitar.
Whilst their most recent LP The Flow In Between'is a much more bleak, opiate affair Hallucinations of Beauty'is a magnificent master-class in hypnotic neo-psychedelia; propelled by mystical droning rhythms, barely discernable vocals, walls of fuzzed-out guitars, orchestral violins and far-Eastern sitars, this is an incredible album that transcends the realms of drone, psych and shoegaze to bring a medieval sounding, atmospheric collection of songs that will leave you spellbound.
