Las Cobras are a duo hailing from Canelones, Uruguay. Despite being a totally new band, forming in the summer of 2016, this album is certain to pin the duo firmly on the radars for psych-heads across the globe.
The album itself is influenced as much by psych/krautrock greats a la BJM and Suicide as it is wildly immersed in the lysergic sounds of South America - at times delving into lush and textured afro-beat and tropicalia influences.
Fully immersed in their Latin roots, their groove-ridden and mystical psychedelia is utterly enthralling - it's a hypnotic journey through warped synths, tropic percussion, lysergic bass-lines, smoky vocals and chiming, fuzzed-out guitars.

Iceland's Singapore Sling formed in 2000 and are highly lauded as one of the innovators of experimental psychedelia and rock and roll as we currently know it.
Their ninth full-length Kill Kill Kill (Songs About Nothing)'is set for release February 24th via Fuzz Club Records.
The LP is a haunting and claustrophobic affair, drifting from the sleazy rock'n'roll splendour of previous releases for a more discordant and experimental pastiche.

Repress of The Underground Youths sixth studio LP The Perfect Enemy for God. The album showcasing a clear influence of post-punk and shoegaze, the record feels lethargic in the best way as reverb-soaked vocals and whimsical harmonies blur over jangly, shimmering guitars to tell a bittersweet story.
It's easy to get lost in this record as you find yourself being thrown between the dark, longing corners of one track - such as 'Tokyo Blue's' forlorn guitars and eerie harmonies - and the upbeat pop sensibilities of others - like 'Rodion's' jingle-esque melody.
Produced by Dyer himself, the incredible production of this album heightens its allure as copious amounts of reverb, harmonies, and perfect use of dynamics send you into a dreamy haze from the first listen. The Perfect Enemy for God is being repressed onto 180g heavy ultra-clear vinyl (700 copies).

The return of Icelandic Singapore Sling is upon us with their seventh studio album, recorded in the winter of 2011-2012 titled The Towers of Foronocity'and you will be anticipating this one for good reason. Twelve tracks of that dark, moody and broody sound that we all have come to know so well. It's like a surrealistic dream sequence out of a David Lynch movie. Walls and walls of sound, layered between darkness and light.
The album contains some of the bands best songs to date, including the opening track 'You Drive Me Insane' with it's thump coming at you, it'll have you tasting the blood (of Singapore Sling) immediately. The band was born in 2000 as a result of nobody making the music that Singapore Slings Henrik Bjornsson wanted to hear.
So he simply decided to make it himself, instead of complaining and doing nothing. It was born out of love and hate. Love of the various music from the past, mainly rock 'n' roll, and hatred of the majority of the music around him. He named the band Singapore Sling (after the film by Nikolai Nikolaidis) shortly before the first show in he fall of 2000.
The first proper record, The Course of Singapore Sling, was released in 2002 and named "The Course Of" because of bad luck and freaky incidents that surrounded the recording of the record. The course went on and so did they.

After causing seismic shifts in the underground earlier this year with their debut album Neither Virtue Nor Anger, Sonic Jesus are back with a limited edition 7' featuring a brand new track, and remix by Sonic Boom aka Pete Kember from Spacemen 3 and Spectrum, due for release November 20th on Fuzz Club Records.
On Side A the remix of 'Locomotive' maintains the track's beautiful abstract vocals which evoke some kind of religious ritual or perhaps a lonely lament. The song is then propelled into the heavens as the band crashes in and Sonic Boom's psychedelic treatment takes effect.
The B side, 'Never In My Mind', starts off like a call to arms full of violence and energy, and continues its rampage pace like an adrenaline shot to the heart. The marching snare drum is overlaid with fuzz-heavy guitars and dark distorted vocals to produce a sound that is distinctly Sonic Jesus.
From their two releases to date (Neither Virtue Nor Anger and a self titled EP released by Fuzz Club in 2012) Sonic Jesus has earned the adoration of much of the alternative music press including Consequence of Sound, The Quietus, Drowned In Sound, Clash Music, and Exclaim! who have praised their unique sound of intense industrial darkness, built from vast and myriad influences.
The Quietus says Sonic Jesus have conclusively proved themselves the contemporary masters'.
Drowned In Sound says Sonic Jesus can lay claim to releasing one of the scene's - and this year's - finest collections.'(Referring to Neither Virtue Nor Anger).

Manchester's The Underground Youth is here with with yet another hauntingly beautiful record that blends shoegaze, post-punk and psychedelia.
TUY is the name under which Manchester's underground poet, Craig Dyer, has produced his records since 2009.
In 2011, Fuzz Club Records started putting out his prolific catalogue, bringing to light a number of LPs and singles that had only circulated virally on the Internet.
Since then, TUY, with Craig and Olya Dyer as the core of the band, have expanded to a five piece, gaining a solid international fan-base and touring all around the UK and Europe.
Drown In Sound said of their Eindhoven set: 'combining the mesmeric rhythms of The Velvet Underground - Olya Dyer's driving beats make her the new psych generation's Mo Tucker - with rippling feedback associated with Bad Moon Risingera Sonic Youth and a dash of the Mary Chain thrown in as well, they're a captivating force'.

Fuzz Club Records and the American The Reverberation Appreciation Society (founders of Austin Psych Fest) are set to co-release The Reverb Conspiracy Volume III. As usual, the album feature some of the best acts of the underground scene on its side of the continent. From its beginning in 2012, The Reverb Conspiracy was a catalyst moment for the European Psych Nouveau movement.
It brought together young bands from all over Europe, sparking a creative and professional synergy among many artists. A turning point was probably the first Reverb Conspiracy Tour, which most of the bands from the compilation joined to perform a successful showcase a-la Stax Records in the 60s, in many European capitals, including an epic two day sold out festival at the Shacklewell Arms in London. That was also the year of first Liverpool Psych Fest. Since then, Psych festivals and new bands have been sprouting up all over the continent.
The fifteen outfits taking part in the third volume - including Goat (mixed by Anton Newcombe of Brian Jonestown Massacre), Mugstar, The Oscillation, Camera are representative of the impressive diversity and quality of a scene that is much broader than its definition. While all of them are certainly inspired by Psychedelia, each one of them incorporates different elements of Blues, Folk, Rock & Roll, Stoner, Kraut Rock, Electronica, Noise, Ambient and more.
All is impeccably delivered in a pure and honest DIY approach that is reminiscent of the early days of the Punk era. A double album, the Reverb Conspiracy Volume III will be limited to 1200 numbered copies, white vinyl with gate-fold cover. On top of that, there will also be 1000 CDs available. For the third time, the cover was created by iconic Icelandic artist and band member of Dead Skeletons, Jon Saemundur, aka Nonni Dead.
