Al Lover's newest Single, 'Neuicide!' is an obvious tip of the hat to two ground breaking bands that are ironically revered by today's nostalgia-drenched underground music scene, German Kraut pioneers "Neu!" and New York Rockabilly Futurists 'Suicide'.

Taking the influence to an absurdist display of gratitude, Al Channels (through his distorted lens) the locked groove and ethereal synth swaths of Neu! and the bruiting discord of Suicide.

Combining them in varying degrees on each song, the result is two freaked out, a tonal sides of the same repetitive coin. Not quite remix, not quite cover version. The outcome of the project lies somewhere between the two as snarky allegory for today's copy cat 'throw back' music culture. What better way to comment on repetition then with repetition.

Let the new man kill himself by worshipping the old god.

As standard with all Fuzz Club releases this is for Indie stores Only.Note Vinyl is out October 12th. Everything Is a Lie follows on from their debut and yet again reaffirms the band as one of the most exciting and refreshing outfits in the wave of current shoegaze bands.

It's the mesmerising concoction of shoegaze, neo-psych and post-punk, delivered with a lethargic but hopeful restraint that is pinning the band at the top of the UKs fruitful psych-gaze'scene and Everything Is a Lie is certain to keep them sitting there comfortable for a while. Everything Is a Lie'could be plucked straight out of 1989, deeply indebted to Spacemen 3, Loop and My Bloody Valentine, it feels languorous and apathetic at times but frontman Thomas's fragile yet hopeful croons drive it with an insatiable vigour from start to finish.

Washed-out fuzz-encrusted guitars are underpinned by whirling bass-lines that Peter Hook would be proud of, if not envious. Hazy synths crash over you whilst thundering percussion locks the album into a deep psychedelic groove, hitting you square in the face like an immersive wall of noise.

The band described this LP as a statement, condemning the current state of the world and addressing the bleak hidden agendas of life, both in a political and personal sense. When asked to describe Everything Is a Lie the band pinned it as 'the only honest thing you'll hear in a world full of lies and hate. Imagine The Jesus and Mary Chain sharing a Lou Reed cake with The Brian Jonestown Massacre whilst Spacemen 3 stand and watch.'

Scandinavian psych-rock outfit The Wands pinned themselves at the forefront of the European psych stage long ago with their previous efforts but the new Faces EP is certain to keep them sitting there comfortably.

Dining on an influence of Nuggets-era rock and roll and Eastern acid-rock this is psychedelic music as it should be, underpinned by a nostalgic yearning but wholly innovative and equally addictive.

Their latest cut is a much more dynamic and vivid effort and it's immediately evident that The Wands are back with a clearer vision than ever with their vibrant and infectious psych.

Whilst the groovy fuzzed-out guitars, otherworldly solos and tremulous vocals still echo a tripped out ode to the 60s and 70s psychedelic forefathers, the cosmic swell of synths and organs propel it with a contemporary and ethereal vigour.

TCODK - a four-piece from the Midlands - make the kind of experimental goth- tinged psych that, has thus far, eluded 2016.

Fans of Swans and The Icarus Line will find plenty to entertain them here - this is a band unafraid to take risks. The thing that first impresses on hearing TCODK is the sheer scale of their intentions.

Speaking of first single Broken Arm Of God,'the band said 'we wanted it to sound like a volcano giving birth to an atomic bomb. It has bass and baritone guitar that killed 3 guitar amps in one afternoon, then a studio preamp. It's probably costing us a fortune in damages and repairs.

The result was exactly what we wanted though' This band can make a lot of noise. To focus on that however would be to negate what makes this band truly beguiling: nuance. Take Deepest Pit Of Emptiness'for example - its prog leanings combined with a decidedly English vocal delivery are as distinctive and profound as anything released this year.

TCODK have pushed themselves sonically on this album, it's by far their most experimental release to date. It's also an album rooted in darkness. 'The new album deals with the theme of uncertainty, and put more simply - the end.' That theme resonates throughout the entire album.

Fans of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will be enamoured, but play it to a Sisters Of Mercy fan and watch their reaction: there is a new contender for the throne.

'Sometimes you need to burrow through the darkness of your soul to find the light in your life. This album is definitely dark at times, but through it all, it comes with a sense of release and freedom' - Levitation Magazine. // Limited edition of 750 copies on 180 grams transparent vinyl.

The return of Icelandic Singapore Sling is upon us with their seventh studio album, recorded in the winter of 2011-2012 titled The Towers of Foronocity'and you will be anticipating this one for good reason. Twelve tracks of that dark, moody and broody sound that we all have come to know so well. It's like a surrealistic dream sequence out of a David Lynch movie. Walls and walls of sound, layered between darkness and light.

The album contains some of the bands best songs to date, including the opening track 'You Drive Me Insane' with it's thump coming at you, it'll have you tasting the blood (of Singapore Sling) immediately. The band was born in 2000 as a result of nobody making the music that Singapore Slings Henrik Bjornsson wanted to hear.

So he simply decided to make it himself, instead of complaining and doing nothing. It was born out of love and hate. Love of the various music from the past, mainly rock 'n' roll, and hatred of the majority of the music around him. He named the band Singapore Sling (after the film by Nikolai Nikolaidis) shortly before the first show in he fall of 2000.

The first proper record, The Course of Singapore Sling, was released in 2002 and named "The Course Of" because of bad luck and freaky incidents that surrounded the recording of the record. The course went on and so did they.

The album was anticipated by the single Saturation, released in July and remixed by Sonic Boom (founding member of Spacemen 3 and Spectrum), who also collaborated with the band on their previous 7inch single, Lying In The Sand.

Defined a rumbling space-rocker by US's Under The Radar Magazine, the single is also the opening track of this seven-tracks record, out on Thursday the 1st of October. Their adventure started in 2008, when Eric Strand founded the band with organist, guitarist and violinist Christian Eldefors.

They are the only other permanent member of The Orange Revival. With just a demo they embarked upon a European tour by train, rambling around the capitals and sleeping at street corners most of the nights. In 2011 they released their first LP, Black Smoke Rising, and ever since they ended up playing two editions of Austin Psych Fest and toured Europe and USA for two years.

During their European tours, they supported the likes of The Warlocks, White Hills and Spectrum, starting a solid relationship with Peter Kember. As anticipated by the single, Futurecent is a collection of doomsday drones, stirring up Blues, Punk and a touch of Desert Rock in a lysergic pot.

Echoing some of the wildest chapters of Rock & Roll history, from The Stooges to Brian Jonestown Massacre and early Nebula, the record has a 60s hypnotic flavour, spiced up with hammering drums, organ buzz and fuzzy guitar riffs.

Sonic Jesus 'Locomotive (Remixed By Sonic Boom)'

    £5.99

    Limited to 1000 copies.

After causing seismic shifts in the underground earlier this year with their debut album Neither Virtue Nor Anger, Sonic Jesus are back with a limited edition 7' featuring a brand new track, and remix by Sonic Boom aka Pete Kember from Spacemen 3 and Spectrum, due for release November 20th on Fuzz Club Records.

On Side A the remix of 'Locomotive' maintains the track's beautiful abstract vocals which evoke some kind of religious ritual or perhaps a lonely lament. The song is then propelled into the heavens as the band crashes in and Sonic Boom's psychedelic treatment takes effect.

The B side, 'Never In My Mind', starts off like a call to arms full of violence and energy, and continues its rampage pace like an adrenaline shot to the heart. The marching snare drum is overlaid with fuzz-heavy guitars and dark distorted vocals to produce a sound that is distinctly Sonic Jesus.

From their two releases to date (Neither Virtue Nor Anger and a self titled EP released by Fuzz Club in 2012) Sonic Jesus has earned the adoration of much of the alternative music press including Consequence of Sound, The Quietus, Drowned In Sound, Clash Music, and Exclaim! who have praised their unique sound of intense industrial darkness, built from vast and myriad influences.

The Quietus says Sonic Jesus have conclusively proved themselves the contemporary masters'.

Drowned In Sound says Sonic Jesus can lay claim to releasing one of the scene's - and this year's - finest collections.'(Referring to Neither Virtue Nor Anger).

500 only limited vinyl repress on clear frosted vinyl. Sonic Jesus blew away audiences earlier this year with their debut album of unrelenting sonic intensity, Neither Virtue Nor Anger, and the soul shattering live performances that followed. Due to demand, Fuzz Club are re-releasing the album on vinyl.

A four sided epic of industrial darkness, Neither Virtue Nor Anger rippled through the underground selling out records and shows and gaining critical acclaim from Consequence of Sound, The Quietus, Drowned In Sound, Clash Music, and Exclaim! giving the Italian duo near-deity status among fans and contemporaries. Clash Music put it well when they said If you decide to name your band Sonic Jesus then you're going to need to back it up with something special.'Indeed they did.

Sonic Jesus say the album represents 50 years of music, and critics have noted many influences among the guitar laden electronica and fuzz: industrial noise, post punk, folk, glam rock, heavy metal, calypso and more traditional'new psych sounds such as psychedelia, blues and shoegaze. But rather than sounding like a schizophrenic pastiche, Neither Virtue Nor Anger has been praised as a rich and masterful creation, made by highly talented musicians who combined their influences then left them to simmer and dissolve together to form a new entity, which is something much more interesting and complex than the sum of its parts.

The Quietus says Its uncompromising dedication to pursuing its own singularly dank metaphor lifts this record above its peers towards the flagellant intensity of Current 93 or Swans...Sonic Jesus have conclusively proved themselves the contemporary masters'.

The album not only showcases the incredible skill and creativity of the artists involved, it also drives a stake in the ground for the future of the psych, which some say is starting to suffer under the fatigue of homage and sameness.

Drowned In Sound said 'Neither Virtue Nor Anger goes above and beyond the realms of your average psych record. Sonic Jesus can lay claim to releasing one of the scene's - and this year's - finest collections. If Sonic Jesus are the unbridled new future - modern, raw, experimental and forward looking - then it's a future we want to be part of'

Shindig Magazine has called them 'one of Psych's best kept secrets', Drowned In Sound compared them to Brian Jonestown Massacre combined with the sonic intensity of A Place To Bury Strangers.

    £9.99

LP Limited edition of 1200 only / CD pressing of 1000.

"Including GOAT remix by Anton Newcombe from The Brian Jonestown Massacre.
Fuzz Club Records and the American The Reverberation Appreciation Society (founders of Austin Psych Fest) are set to co-release The Reverb Conspiracy Volume III. As usual, the album feature some of the best acts of the underground scene on its side of the continent. From its beginning in 2012, The Reverb Conspiracy was a catalyst moment for the European Psych Nouveau movement.

It brought together young bands from all over Europe, sparking a creative and professional synergy among many artists. A turning point was probably the first Reverb Conspiracy Tour, which most of the bands from the compilation joined to perform a successful showcase a-la Stax Records in the 60s, in many European capitals, including an epic two day sold out festival at the Shacklewell Arms in London. That was also the year of first Liverpool Psych Fest. Since then, Psych festivals and new bands have been sprouting up all over the continent.

The fifteen outfits taking part in the third volume - including Goat (mixed by Anton Newcombe of Brian Jonestown Massacre), Mugstar, The Oscillation, Camera are representative of the impressive diversity and quality of a scene that is much broader than its definition. While all of them are certainly inspired by Psychedelia, each one of them incorporates different elements of Blues, Folk, Rock & Roll, Stoner, Kraut Rock, Electronica, Noise, Ambient and more.

All is impeccably delivered in a pure and honest DIY approach that is reminiscent of the early days of the Punk era. A double album, the Reverb Conspiracy Volume III will be limited to 1200 numbered copies, white vinyl with gate-fold cover. On top of that, there will also be 1000 CDs available. For the third time, the cover was created by iconic Icelandic artist and band member of Dead Skeletons, Jon Saemundur, aka Nonni Dead.

"Hailing from Denmark, psych duo The Wands are the aural sound of an acid trip at the blissed-out point when your arms appear to be made of rainbows.' - NME

'Those of you at Liverpool's International Festival of Psychedelia last September will know that The Wands were one of the weekend's highlights.' - Drowned In Sound

Danish song writing duo The Wands embark on a UK/European tour this November with their debut album The Dawn, a record that celebrates flamboyant, hallucinogenic acid rock, propelled by ideas and a, some might say, old-school ethos in terms of their approach to recording. Much  preferring the straight to tape method (bolstered by a raft of analogue kit, honest production, and an understanding that this is the only way to get the mix they need) the duo, comprised of childhood friends Christian Skibdal and Mads Gräs, resuscitate 60's style Psych-rock and inject a characteristically playful Wands slant. Indeed, it's a record flecked with the remnants of lives spent growing up together; one abound with signposts that point toward a naïve outlook, a childishness even, but a musical maturity and knowingness that only comes from immersion and hanging out with your best friend for 20 years.

On opening track, and current single, Sound of The Machine, they stick a middle finger to the man ('there's an island of misplaced toys / it's a sea of sweet delight / on the planet of misfit boys / they jump at the chance of a good fight') while former single The Dawn yearns for a simpler time. Similarly, Get It Out of Your System's effervescent glam romp belongs in the playground, while closing track The Name of The Mountain lumbers to a momentous, dizzying, triumphant conclusion, ablaze with Gräs'own ever-present but never intrusive wandering guitar.

Through the haze, emerges another thoughtful refrain, 'It's the name of the mountain / It's the road we decide / Spending hours counting flowers that we're leaving behind'. This is what The Wands do. They want to 'shine a light on all the dark, serious sh**'.
