To celebrate the first European tour in 20 years from Dunedin's finest, We are pleased to announce a special tour release, 'Stand By'. Featuring two never before release tracks, 'Find Your Own Way Home' and a cover of 'Solitary Man' (available via a special download / ICE fanclub membership insert), all audio is re-mastered especially for this special tour, which includes and appearance at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The tour follows on from the live album Somewhere Beautiful, which was released on Fire last year (CD / 3LP gatefold), and is a welcome return for Martin Phillipps and the most recent incarnation of The Chills which features James Dickson (Bass/Backing Vocals), Todd Knudson (Drums/Backing Vocals), Erica Stichbury (Violin/Backing Vocals) and Oli Wilson (Keyboards/Backing Vocals).

The Chills' first new single for over a decade, Molten Gold, was released last July to coincide with Phillipps' 50th birthday, ladling his stirring vocal over chiming guitars and spring-breeze-fresh-sounding strings, this is quintessential Chills and a reinvigorated return to form for the indie luminaries who propelled the much celebrated 'Dunedin Sound'. The Chills are a band from Dunedin, New Zealand fronted by the rare talent of Martin Phillipps.

Originally formed in 1980, The Chills had a revolving cast of band members with Phillipps remaining the only constant. His knack for writing fantastic pop songs led to chart hits back home and a cult following around the world.
