Ayyuka was founded in the year 2001.They've started to make their own music which was mostly improvisation and influenced by a lot of different styles. Some time later the band had it's name naturally which Is AYYUKA that has two meanings: ''to the highest part of the sky' and 'an idiom to tell that a secret has been revealed'" .

After university years they moved to Istanbul and started to perform their music at some live venues. Since their self-titled debut album release, the band have performed in various music festivals and venues in a number of cities including Istanbul, Berlin, Lyon, Sao Paulo.

They also have opened up for some major artists like Jonathan Richman, R.E.M., Sonic Youth.

With very direct live performance energy in their compositions, Ayyuka fuse characteristic elements from a variety of genres such as Anatolian Rock, arabesque, surf rock, punk, spaghetti western, psychedelic rock, and funk. They released their second studio album 'Kiraci Odalari' on October 2013.

Sömestr'is Ayyuka's third studio album,  the sound  moves between psychedelic rock, afro rhythms  and much else besides. The album was made by the  improvising recording sessions that they recorded at their studio.

Balina is a duo that carries the elements from various musical parallel universes like prog rock, math rock, psychedelia, stoner rock and swing jazz with the flavours of modern heavy metal and Turkish roots. Their music contains a blend of raw and dark tunes with the help of dynamic sound brought by the feat of drum and guitar.

Duo has founded in late 2011 in Izmir Turkey as Alican Oyke on guitars and Burçin Esin on drums, who are also the old bandmates from local post hardcore band Soygun.

After their first self released 2013 record Balina'and the sequent performances which includes an opening up for Mogwai in their 2015 Istanbul gig too; they quickly became one of the accepted modern-heavy faces of Turkey's current sub cultural music scene.

After following performances mostly held in Istanbul they made a reappearance with their second studio work Kaybetmenin Mitolojisi'which was released by Ada Müzik (Fikret Ka±za±lok, Faza±l Say, Bülent Ortaçgil, Zen, Nekropsi, Replikas and more) in late 2017. This time, their music tells a conceptual psychedelic urban story, stuck between the sea and the rocks.

The songs were recorded in Pür Recording Studio Istanbul and BahçeoeŸehir University with the presence of Barka±n Engin (Replikas). The cover of the album was created by Fa±rat Itmeç, photographed by Burçin Esin and graphically designed by Can DaaŸla±.

The promo photos were taken by Ebru Ya±lda±z, who has previously worked with many names such as John Cale, Ty Segall and more. In this long breath progressive album, composed of four tracks in total, Lara Di Lara features in one of the songs Ãœzgünüm'.

Soul Path is a follow up project of Game Airs (Oyun Havalara±) that was produced 12 years ago. This project happened as being in awe of Ninja Arcade Games, especially Ninja Warrior. The album includes the same named song which was inspired by the game itself.

Can Tan says: 'I remember myself stuck to the screen at the Video game Arcade (Fame City at 1988) when I saw the Ninja character Kunoichi and admired him so much.' 

After the first sound was recorded, Can Tan started to make music for imagined arcade games. The first song was 'Soul Path' which gave its name to the album.

He started recording the songs in 2018, Okan Ya±lmaz played synths and showed his ninja skills in four songs.

The Istanbul-based collective, guguou, announce their first album, 'Pas Matri', set for release by Shalgam Records.

The Istanbul-based collective, ha za vu zu, crafted their artistic mode of expression through situational aesthetics and performative gesture, often incorporating music among many elements.

The collective has since spawned another grouping, guguou, where music plays the lead role. guguou was founded after GüneoeŸ Terkol was invited to the Sao Paulo Biennale in 2017. Terkol was already performing with Güçlü Oztekin, and for the performance in Sao Paulo, they were joined by OaŸuz Erdin on acoustic/electronic drums and sound processing.

The three have been collaborating for the last four years at their home studio. gugugou draws on the forms, techniques and the strategies of experimental pop music. They utilize electronic tools to manipulate sound and vocals, experimenting with, or stretching popular forms, as well as processed sounds, low technology, electro acoustics, repetition and highly rhythmic music, accompanied by short and simple idiosyncratic vocalism. While the lyrics derive from every day encounters, meticulously rehearsed music performances are born from collective improvisations.

Pas Matri is the product of this interdisciplinary nature of their practice, of their range across an array of different mediums. They decided to record the album in late 2018, also using various material from old recordings.

The album was recorded between 2017 and 2019, mixed by OaŸuz Erdin and mastered by Barka±n Engin. Musicians such as Bora áeliker (guitar), Emre Akçora (saxophone) and Bulut áavaoeŸ (santoor) feature with guguou on some tracks.

Guitar player and singer songwriter Özgür Yilmaz known as the member of Ayyuka and Kirika bands. His first official solo work ORA was recorded as the soundtrack of a documentary, which was the story of a man, Osman Gürsoy, who travelled around the world several times in 70's with his 150cc motorcycle.

Most of the pieces from ORA were recorded in 2013 for this unfinished film. with some additional tracks in similar moods, the album was finished in 2016.

The album was released by Shalgam records on 2016 and will be available on vinyl as 200 Limited Copies in 2017 November.

Ponza is ready to paint the independent music scene with fluorescent colors with their debut EP 'Free Kids'
By taking the 60's and 70's peaceful and lovely echoes as the EP's origin, the band aims to direct the independent music spirit to an optimistic future.

GüneoeŸ Akyürek's psychedelic flavored home recording demos met with the drumbeats coming out of Salih Topuz's colorful mind. Free Kids Ep is recorded at Noiseist (Istanbul) and includes four songs which mixed and mastered by áaaŸan Tunala±.

In the album GüneoeŸ Akyürek performed vocals, electric and bass guitars and Salih Topuz performed the drums and all instruments are tuned in 432 Hz. Fearlessly they experimented on traditional and modern recording technics using every analog and digital toys they can find and came up with hi-fi album whit a lo-fi spirit.

The EP mixed and mastered by áaaŸan Tunala±. With the long time fellows, Burak Serter (bass) and DoaŸukan Acar (synthesizer) aligning the orbit, Ponza continues to experience the journey.

Ponza's Free Kids Ep will be digitally and physically released by Shalgam Records.
