The album will be mainly instrumental, and tells a story that was inspired by the feeling of loss. The music of Atlantis is the creation of Gilson C. Heitinga, who has written, arranged, produced and programmed the whole album.
Now that the album has been completed Atlantis is going to emerge from the studio and transform into a full on live experience. The live line-up has been formed, and is ready to hit the road and perform these songs live.

Visit product page →Karhide, AKA Tim Waterfield, has been programming beats for as long as DJ Shadow – but where Josh Davis came from a background of hip hop culture and breakbeats, Tim’s electronic upbringing in the East Midlands was through the industrial-strength beats of Godflesh and Frontline Assembly. Cutting his teeth in the now-legendary ‘Big Black-but-one-louder’ Nottingham duo Ann Arbor, Tim has been refining and distilling a long lineage of electronica and guitar music for more than a decade, reaching his purest statement of intent with Karhide, more than twenty years since he picked up his first drum machine.
Karhide records take a blowtorch to the heavyweight guitars of Jesu and Pelican and fuse them to crushing beats and drifting electronica that increasingly take their cue from the most out-there explorations of Four Tet as much as the devastating beatwork of Squarepusher. What’s even more remarkable is that every instrument on the record is played by Tim (who only brings in the best drummers he can find to attempt to match his devilish programming) – and that he can pull this stuff off live too, with the precision of Slint and the chest-quaking volume of Jesu.
Years of playing alongside bands including Pitchshifter, Refused, The Get Up Kids, Karate, Oxbow and Fudge Tunnel have turned Tim – and Karhide – into a seasoned live outfit, easily outmatching most bands’ volume and intensity with his one-man show. There’s no need for vocals to get in the way when there’s intensity, power and stately melody running through every moment of a Karhide set.
As well as performing with Karhide, Tim runs the peerless Field Records label, ploughing a similar furrow of the best fusions of math-rock, post-rock and electronica with releases from the likes of Maybeshewill, Lafaro, Alright The Captain, Upcdownc and What The Blood Revealed. He’s also a renowned engineer and remixer picking up a reputation as the Steve Albini of the south coast, whose mobile recording studio has seen him go as far as converting an entire RNLI lifeboat station into a studio for one album he recorded recently.

Visit product page →Striking out from Belfast on a raft of youthful enthusiasm and with a sound built upon strong founding influences such as Fleetwood Mac and Oceansize through to Opeth and The Mars Volta; instrumental act Kasper Rosa have been moving from strength to strength since the release of their first EP. The boys have been packing-out gigs and receiving praise from their peers since their inception, so it was no surprise that they soon found themselves supporting Seattle favourites Earth at just their third ever gig, adding quickly to their growing impact on the circuit with a tour alongside English rockers Alright The Captain. All this whilst still being just a few months free of their creative womb.
Since their beginnings in April 2009 Dave Shannon, James Bruce, John Ryan McCormick and Steven Butler have been increasingly getting involved with various fronts on the music battle zone – from DJ-ing to playing launch nights around their native Belfast. On the media side of things they have been asked to record live sessions with Rory McConnell's BBC Introducing and Stephen McAuley's Electric Mainline.
The band recently performed with 65daysofstatic at Mandela Hall in Belfast. Throughout the rest of 2010 Kasper Rosa will be touring their wares extensively along the length and breadth of the UK, promoting EP2 and spreading the good word, including shows with Maybeshewill.
Kasper Rosa’s latest release - EP2 - is an intricate and epic journey that combines the best of post-rock, prog and rock, which leaves you with something undeniably addictive and beautiful. Songs like “Good Luck With David” are over 11-minutes and convey gorgeous melodic journeys, not far from bands like the legendary Aereogramme and Mogwai. Others like “Team Building Exercise” infuses the band’s love of rock and metal with nods to bands like Tool. These boys are flying the flag for instrumental music with a rockin’ soul and melodic class. EP2 is one of the finest things you’ll hear this year.

Kill Chaos are a 3 piece alternative rock band from Nottingham/Mansfield/Sheffield. They draw influences from bands like Biffy Clyro, Reuben, Future of the Left, Hell Is For Heroes, Sucioperro.
The band sparked into life in 2007 and after the usual Spinal Tap drummer revolving door band settled into the existing line-up in late 2011, having played extensively up and down the country with bands such as Sucioperro, Arctic Monkeys, Reef, Frank Turner, INME and many many more.
The current line up of Darren Clewes (vocals/guitar), Gavin Treliving (vocals/bass) and Tom Waddingham (vocals/drums) have spend the past year-ish recording, mixing and mastering the album PromisesPromises whenever time and money allowed. The album will be released through Field Records in mid November.
PromisesPromises reflects where the band is at live – veering wildly but somehow comfortably between dark, crushing riffs and crafted songs...all where the hook is king. The songs are all written collaboratively from individual sparks of ideas but retain a personal insight into the headspace of the band.
Above all, Kill Chaos are music fans. They talk endlessly about who they’d like to tour with, what producers/studios they’d like to work in, who their favourite bands are...they play music as music fans would, with commitment, passion and energy. With all of the other stuff that surrounds their – and our – daily lives, this means the world to them.

They came together in 2004 and have created a sound influenced by such giants of the leftfield as Isis, Neurosis and Mogwai and they find their inspiration in science, and the truths it reveals.
They have released two well received EPs which have found their way to friends in 5 continents and are releasing the album “Harbour of Devils” on Field Records in March 2012. They have shared stages with great bands like Kylesa, This Will Destroy You, Maybeshewill, Crippled Black Phoenix, Storm of Light and many more.
