Bonafide frontman, Pontus Snibb to release solo Blues Rock project. No one can ever say Pontus Snibb is laid back, if he's not bouncing about Europe heading up Bonafide or skin thumping with Jason & the scorchers, we now see he's managed to set aside time to write an record a new solo Blues Rock project, aptly named 'Wreck of Blues'.
And what a stunning album it is, with some old school blues n swamp rock riff-age combined with a very modern rock production and Pontus's signature voice, this effort has bits of Beck, Hendrix and ZZ Top all through it, Pontus Snibb's take on it. Well here it is another chapter in my musical career, but something I've been meaning to lay down for some time now. I've been into the whole Blues vibe since I was a kid and if I'm honest, it will probably be that sort of riff that will be getting played when I stop doing what I'm doing. When I finally got round to doing this, the tracks were the easy bit as I've had most of them in storage for some time, but as you know, I never stop writing. The musicianship was essential and after playing over 2000 shows with Håkan Nyberg (aka DAD) I couldn't think of anyone else I'd rather have part of my rhythm section, he's taken care of the skins and the low end rumble comes from my bass soul mate, Micke Nilsson.
The end result is pleasing as it really represents the passion I have for this genre, but as the great Albert King used to say....Blues Power...can you dig it?

Afterlife have also performed at up and coming Scottish festival Les-Fest (2013), the Cambridge Rock Festival (2013) and Hard Rock Hell (2012).
OMEGA was recorded during the summer of 2013 at a secluded studio overlooking Loch Fyne in Scotland and features 11 all new tracks including; 'What Do We Die For', 'Way Back Home' and 'Lost'. In September 2013 a music video for the song 'Lost' was released, which was filmed during this recording session.

The follow-up to their critically-acclaimed second album Road Dog, the new album was once again produced and mixed by roddymacaudio at Titan Studios West in Glasgow, Scotland and mastered in New York, US by Michael Tucci at Masterdisk (Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Nirvana, Pearl Jam).
88MPH is a diverse collection of hard-hitting biker rock anthems, grinding blues-infused metal riffs and searing ballads featuring Jonny Parr on lead vocals and guitar; Richie Rage on drums; Stevie Bell on lead guitar and new member Colin Wilson on bass and vocals. The album also features guest appearances by Lanarkshire-based singer Emma Nailen and Attica fan Marko Duckworth, who landed the task of battering a beer keg with a baseball bat! 88MPH will be officially launched by the band at Hard Rock Hell VI festival in Pwllheli, North Wales on 30 November 2012, including an album signing session and a fired-up, full-throttle live showcase, sharing the weekend bill with headliners Ace Frehley (KISS), Testament, Sebastian Bach and Buckcherry.
The album launch continues the following weekend with two ATTICA RAGE headline shows at Glasgow Classic Grand on Friday 7 December and London Nambucca on Sunday 9 December. Special guest supports for these shows are label buddies and Italian metal maestros Arthemis. Talking about the album, singer Jonny Parr comments, We completed 88MPH in six weeks and took the deliberate decision to go for a gutsier, stripped-back sound - this is the purest fans will have heard us on record yet. It's punchy and in-yer-face and chock full of hooks, melodies and some hefty monster riffs.
There are also some beautifully tender moments too though. We're all very proud of 88MPH and we know the fans are gonna love it! ATTICA RAGE have toured continuously over the last few years building a strong army of fans - Clan Attica - taking their distinctive biker rock n' metal sounds across the UK & Europe at headline shows and festivals including High Voltage, Hard Rock Hell, Bulldog Bash, Hammerfest, Metalcamp, HRH Road Trip Ibiza and Download Festival Boardie BBQ party. They have supported bands such as Saxon, Diamond Head and Die Apokalyptischen Reiter and have shared billings with Judas Priest, Dream Theater, Slash, Anthrax, Thin Lizzy, Black Label Society, Down and Skindred, amongst others. In summer this year, ATTICA RAGE performed at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2012 awards pre-show party on board the HMS Hammer boat along with Shadows Fall and Fozzy plus hundreds of fans, media & industry as it sailed along the River Thames in London towards the 02 Arena.
Attica Rage also contributed a cover version of 'Killer of Giants' on a US-released Ozzy Osbourne tribute album and are currently completing work on a 3-year documentary and live concert film DVD with director Colin Wood.
