The Jim Jones Revue follow up their critically acclaimed self titled debut with Here To Save Your Soul, a block rocking collection of all the JJR singles  and b sides available for the first time in physical format (CD/LP) plus two new hard rockin' exclusive tracks.

The album kicks off  with Rock'n'Roll Psychosis which was originally released as a single on 17/11/08 with the JJR's interpretation of the Elvis classic Big Hunk O' Love as the b-side. Rock'n'Roll sychosis explodes out of the speakers like an atom bomb detonating-an unholy jam between Jerry Lee Lewis and The Birthday Party.

The 'Revues second single Cement Mixer was released on 9/3/09 with a demolished version of the Little Richard classic, Good Golly Miss Molly on the b-side.  For Cement Mixer  The JJR step back in speed but increase the power with Elliot Mortimer unleashing a hurricane of Hammond keys while Jones intones Here we go, nice and slow...

The opening track of the debut album, Princess & The Frog was released on 8/6/09 with a previously unreleased JJR master blaster Freak of Nature on the reverse. It takes the traditional Grimms fairy tale and spins it on its head with an injection of filthy sleaze.

The track kicks off with a distorted broken down honky tonk piano before the rest of the band crash in sounding like The JBs if they'd swapped horns for guitars. The Jim Jones Revue have been described as sounding like a car crash between Little Richard and The MC5 and Princess and The Frog encapsulates this. The last two tracks are brand new exclusive songs Burning Your House Down and Elemental.

A taster of the new JJR album to be released next year. Burning Your House kicks off with a jerky stop-start backwards  rockabilly rhythm before exploding into life as Jim Jones roars There aint no smoke without fire! and the track careers off into a car crash of barrel house piano, out of control feedback and Jim Jones's lecherous vocal  demanding I'm burning your house down to let you know I'm still around¦.

Elemental erupts with a Chuck Berry riff dragged from hell before blasting into what sounds like an unholy alliance of the deranged sons of Detroit jamming on the bones of The Georgia Peach and then spinning out into a free jazz freak out!
