Founding members Chris and Andy Kirk are brothers.
Flames did not actually split up in the early 90's, but went into a period of minimal activity following the release of Nomen Illi Mors. The band eventually split up after the release of In Agony Risesbefore reuniting once again in 2001. Flames are still active to this day, despite having not released any new material since 1996.
Made a cover of "The Return of Darkness and Evil" for "Hellas Salutes the Vikings", a tribute album to Bathory.

After the release of their mini-LP (which was quite a "hit" in its time) Efthimis Karadimas left the band to form Nightfall. Epidemic released a full-album three years later before changing their name to Descend.

Sadistic Noise was the support band in the first gig of Napalm Death in Greece.
Flesh, had been playing guitar in a Greek garage punk band, called Villa 21. The leader of Villa 21, Kostas Pothoulakis, died in May, 1991 in a car accident. Flesh dedicated the "Crush of Heaven" EP to his memory.
