Welcome to the world of Ginger. One of the UK's most prolific and best loved rock artists. Vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, lyricist, story teller and story maker, Ginger is eclecticism personified. Whether it's producing some of the best loved British hard rock music with the institution that is The Wildhearts, touring with the Scorchers (Jason Ringenberger's band) as Ginger and The Scorchers or solo albums such as 2007's critically acclaimed Yoni or original stints in the Quireboys and The Throbs, Ginger is a unique UK artist to treasure¦
Ginger is set to add to the legend with the release of new solo album Market Harbour. Impossible again to categorise the album is 21 songs/segues/ and sixty minutes and twenty four seconds long. With no break in the music throughout the album, and packed with a weird and wonderful array of samples and loops in addition to instrumentation, the record is a showcase for the diverse talent of Ginger.
From the classic Ginger-esque opener and first single Casino Bay (a mid tempo stormer awash with hooks) to country n western meets Hats Off To Roy Harper-esque skiffle instrumental The Ninns Of Mourning, from the Roger Waters infused House Of Moths to the punked up three minute blast of Overeasy, from the Burt Bacharach lilt of 67 second instrumental Tenants to the beautiful soaring instrumentation and melodies of I Knew You (An Amensis), from the do-wop pop of Couple Trouble to the rolling toms of instrumental Eye Of The Rotunda and the slow build epic album closer Shatterproof with it's haunting refrain of How Can You Kill Something / That Will Not Die, Market Harbour is a wildly ambitious album that only someone of Gingers creative talents could pull off as successfully as he does

Ginger is pleased to announce the release of the new album Albion on 31st March 2014, via Round Records. Albion was recorded in Wales throughout the summer of 2013 and was recorded as a band project. The album perfectly showcases why Ginger is one of the UK's best loved and longstanding songwriters with songs as diverse, infectious and compelling as Creepers, The Order Of the Dog and Grow A Pair.
The 6 piece band having played with Ginger throughout 2012 and 2013 all over the world, including European tours with Slash and The Darkness. The Ginger Wildheart Band consists of Ginger Wildheart ' Vocals/Guitar Victoria Liedtke - Vocals (Hey! Hello!) Dean Denzel Pearson ' Drums (Losers/Young Legionnaire) Rich Jones ' Guitar/Vocals (ex Amen/Black Halos) Chris Catalyst ' Guitar/Vocals (Eureka Machines) Random Jon Poole ' Bass/Vocals (Cardiacs/The Wildhearts) Bryan Scary ' Keys/Strings/Vocals (From NYC's Evil Arrows/Bryan Scary & The Shredding Tears) It's been an amazing few years for Ginger Wildheart who has seen a massive career resurgence as he became a success story of PledgeMusic.
In 2011 Ginger launched an ambitious preorder for a triple album project through the Direct to Fan platform, and went on to become the biggest success story for a British artist raising in excess of a quarter of million pounds. The album hit the shelves in 2012 and saw the Geordie icon crash back into the UK top 20 charts for the first time in 10 years, as well as picking up an award for Event of The Year at the Classic Rock Magazine Awards later that year.
Not one to rest on his laurels Ginger then released two albums for his Mutation collective in 2013 (released through Mike Pattons Ipecac label) - an extreme project which featured collaborations with the likes of Shane Embury from Napalm Death, Hawkeyes, Merzbow & Mark E Smith to name but four. Perhaps his most unexpected success was the release of Hey! Hello! in the summer of 2013. A new pop rock collaboration with NY singer Victoria Liedtke.
The international twosome hit the top of the official UK rock charts with their debut self-titled release which was picked up by news outlets around the world. Hey! Hello! was also nominated for best New Band at The Classic Rock Awards in 2013 and their single Swimwear dominated rock radio in both the UK and US. In the UK it was the most played song on Team Rock Radio in September 2013 (as well as being playlisted on numerous others). So now in 2014, Ginger releases his 7th album in just 2 years.

Ginger comments:
"The laws that govern success in the music industry would lead you to believe that the best music is the most popular music, and this is patently untrue.I can't wait until we can bring you volumes 2 through to 5000, to prove beyond any sane doubt that the best music is what resonates with you personally, how ever many copies it has sold worldwide."
