The final instalment from Sheffield's Black Spiders, which closes the 'Sons of the North' chapter. Always putting together something that is just that little bit beyond special (following on from previous EPs 'Cinco Hombres [Diez Cojones]' and 'No Goats in the Omen'), 'KISS tried to kill me' is a huge favourite with fans, so this new EP is set to become the Nation's favourite.
Lead track 'KISS tried to kill me' is always a talking point, with its infectious chorus and intriguing lyrical content - everyone always thinks it's the bad guy, not this time...... Plus final recordings from the album sessions, 'Somebody's fault not mine' and 'Sons of the North', topped off in true Black Spiders style with an awesome version of the Stooges 'Search&Destroy'. The end of 2011 saw the band undertake massive European tour with Volbeat and then Monster Magnet, expanding Black Spiders already wide range of rock fans. Europe was duly served.
They are gearing up for the Jager Tour 2012, which takes place in April and dates with rock Legends ThinLizzy, so what better way to celebrate with a little reminder of how awesome they are. The band are nominated for a Metal Hammer Golden Gods award 2012 for best new UK band.
Terrorizer 'Rammed with don't give a fuck attitude, KISS tried to kill me will make you grow a Colossal amount of facial hair and throw the horns with reckless abandon'. Vive LE Rock 'This band are slicker than cat shit on lino, more rambunctious than Ozzy on fire and hotter than Satan's stiffy.' Big Cheese 'All hail Black Spiders ' they're going to be huge if there's any justice and should be riding all over the world because this is the sound of true rock 'n' roll.'

With a new album This Savage Land out in September heres the debut at a much lower mid price.
Limited vinyl re-pressing on 180gm vinyl Lp. "The gauntlet for best album of 2011 is being thrown down early!" Metal Hammer.
Black Spiders are pure genius, AND, they go onstage on time! Duff McKagan (yeah, him off Guns n Roses)..
Their apocalyptic three-man axe assault is awe-inspiring Rock Sound..
Another monolithic slab of thunderous rock. This Sheffield-based quintet have managed to harness the powers of Angus Young and priapic death punks Turbonegro and distil it into a brew fit for Odin himself KKKK Kerrang.
SONS OF THE NORTH was the much anticipated debut album by the United Kingdoms very own rock juggernaut BLACK SPIDERS. Quite literally ten tracks of galloping rock and thunderous roll, heads down, no nonsense, ear splintering, gut wrenching organic, melodic goodness. We very much hope you enjoy the experience.
The album was recorded at Axis Studios and produced by Matt Ellis and the band. The art was the hand maidens work of guitarist Ozzy Lister who slaved away in the candlelight with his crayons, quill and ink and went brass rubbing on many a hallows eve, to create the lush imagery you see before you.
Classic Rock and Metal Hammer Magazines hailed them as 'Ones to Watch', Kerrang, Rock Sound, Big Cheese Magazines, Subba Cultcha and Thrash Hits all featured their gnarled but boyish good looks.

With a huge tour coming up [the bands biggest to date in Europe] at the end of 2011 and the first since the release of their debut Album 'Sons of the North', Black Spiders decided to put together a collection of all the releases prior to the album. And what better way to release this, than in conjunction with the dates the band are about to undertake with the mighty Monster Magnet throughout Europe and Scandinavia!!
'Volume' will include the original St.Peter single [which was a limited run of 1000] and all tracks from both EPs that weren't readily available, as physical releases, outside of the UK. After many requests regards the back catalogue, the band decided to make all the tracks available in one go, so fans outside of the UK could get their hands on the previous material...
