“One Alone,” the debut solo LP from Alice In Chains lead singer/guitarist, William DuVall, is a smoldering all-acoustic affair, a late-night meditation on heartbreak, triumph, and hard-won lessons. This recording is as intimate as it gets, like a private living room concert. It’s the perfect contrast to Alice In Chains’s recent UK arena tour in May of this year.
“After three albums and numerous world tours with Alice In Chains, as well as creating the Giraffe Tongue Orchestra album (w/ Brent Hinds of Mastodon and Ben Weinman of The Dillinger Escape Plan), and, of course, my catalog of albums and tours with Comes With The Fall, I felt the need to peel everything back to the bare bones. This album is strictly one voice, one guitar. It reveals the very core of who I am as a singer, guitarist, and songwriter.” - William DuVall

Put together by JJ Watt from The Main Grains, the band also features Dennis Post (Warrior Soul, Flush The Fashion) and Berty Burton (Tigertailz) & Dave Sanders (Falling Red).
‘Things That Never Were’ is debut album which was produced by the band themselves and mastered by Wildhearts and Professionals producer Dave Draper. Featuring guest appearances by Kory Clarke (Warrior Soul) and Tracii Guns (LA Guns), as well as Billy Tee and Alex Holmes (The Suicide Notes).
“The album is mainly a selection of songs I had in various stage of demo, including a couple that were planned for use with The Main Grains, one was a live staple of our show, and a few new tracks. It seemed like a great idea to get them recorded, and, things grew from there. Lyrically, its mainly a commentary on things we see in the world, feelings, and, self-reflection, but, hopefully it translates in a way that can speak to different people in different ways.
"The bands opening offering is the Boombastic single ‘Best Of You’. The cut resonates like 70’s Punk and 90’s Rock cracking skulls in the New Wave disco at the bottom of MTV street. The sneering riff slices the ears before the untipped rasping and gasping vocals creep up on you like a Tyson Fury kidney punch." - Guy Shankland, OriginalRock.net
"‘Best Of You’ is a low slung, gritty rock ‘n’ roll number that stays true to JJ’s roots. Think Circus Of Power meets The Yo-Yos for reference. Vocals that can’t hide a 40 a day habit and a penchant for a rum or two, mix with greasy biker rock and tons of melody, what more could you desire?" - RPM Online
"Trust me when I say this album and band are going to be the antidote for flooding, the coronavirus and Trump’s annoyingly upside down mouth." - Pete K Mally

Tanya Donelly covers some of her favorite songs by The Go Go’s, Leonard Cohen, Kirsty MacColl, Split Enz, Linda Ronstadt, The Pretenders, Wings, Echo & The Bunnymen, and Mary Margaret O’Hara on this outstanding new album.
"When Joe from American Laundromat asked if I’d be interested in doing a covers album, I was hesitant, mainly because most of the songs I truly love are already perfect in their original form.
But then I had the idea to ask the brilliant Parkington Sisters to be the band for this project, to bring their gorgeous sound and spirit, and make it something cohesive and centered. Happily, they said yes. So I chose a handful of songs that have been on heavy rotation in my head and heart from the first time I heard them, and the Sisters took over.
They charted and plotted and arranged, and I joined Rose and Sarah and Ariel recording at Jon Evans’ Brick Hill Studio in Orleans MA, with guest players Matthias Bossi and Jon Evans (who also engineered).
Lydia P put down some cello later, and I recorded additional vocals at Q Division Studios in Somerville MA, with James Bridges engineering. These are some of the most honest, moving, beautiful, unfiltered, true and cool songs that have ever been written, in my opinion. And those same adjectives apply to the Parkington Sisters as well." -Tanya
