British rock band formed from the ashes of Pesky-Gee! in Leicester, England in September 1969.
On account of their early use of satanic and occult imagery (including the symbolic sacrifice of a nude virgin on stage), the media regularly drew parallels with another hard rock act named Black Sabbath.
Despite a measure of popularity and three albums later, the band broke up in 1973. Original members Geoff Griffith and Clive Jones have since reformed to release a new album, "Sleeping With Demons", on Hallows' Eve 2011.
