Remastered tracks from pre & post classic album raw power recordings.

No Live material all studio / rehearsal tracks.

London Material taken from original Multi track masters.

Photos from the actual studio in London in 1972 by legendary photographer Mick Rock.

Liner notes by Iggy Pop Bible author and ex Mojo editor Paul Trynka.

In the year the Stooges Movie 'Gimme Danger' by Jim Jarmusch is released across Europe. The legend that is The Stooges is gaining weight. With the sad departure of both Asheton brothers Ron & Scott who were as much a part of the stooges as Iggy Pop was.

Now is the time to ensure we document what exists. With Heavy Liquid -The Album'we try and show the listener what this band were capable of and what utterly focused and dedicated musicians the band were despite the stories of individuals so far off the rails they made the likes of rolling stones and led zeppelin appear like choirboys.

No, there was a sense of purpose - ¦. an attack on the audience at large by very determined young men.

Heavy Liquid,..assembled from everything from cassette recordings to Multi track master tape, it is a peep at what could have been !

Super Deluxe package includes a set of replica flyers!

"It's common to name the MC5 and the Stooges among the forefathers of what they call "punk rock," but it was their associates in a third band, the Up, who could more accurately be identified as the real precursors of punk.

In fact, if you trace the punk-rock lineage back to the Ramones-and many do the connection- is even clearer, because the Ramones were really little more than a watered-down, cheapened clone of the once-mighty Up of Detroit and Ann Arbor".

"This determined quartet of "killer skinnies from the Murder City" were not as skilled in music and stagecraft as their stablemates in the MC5, nor as charismatic as their colleague Jim Osterberg (Iggy Pop) and his band The Stooges, but they dedicated every fiber of their being to playing high-energy rock n' roll that was designed to inspire their audiences to leave the square world behind and come and join the revolution".

The Complete UP recordings/Deluxe packaging includes DVD  of unseen film plus a set of facsimile gig flyers/Booklet includes extensive liner notes by American  Michigan Rock specialist Ken Shimamoto  with involvement from original bassist Gary Rasmussen

Booklet includes never before seen photographs of the band.
