LIMITED TO 100 COPIES ONLY

Lathe cut version of Silver Apples, 'Oscillations 2019' backed with Andrew Weatherall's remix of 'The Edge of Wonder'.

Each copy features hand done artwork by Simeon and Andrew Weatherall and is hand signed by both artists.

This 12” vinyl is a lathe cut and limited to 100 copies only. This means that each one was individually cut on a lathe by an operator who had to listen to every cut as it was made to ensure quality control and was not mass produced in a normal vinyl pressing plant.

A Side: Oscillations 2019 (8:33) is Simeon’s new studio recorded, upgraded and augmented version of Silver Apples’ original 1968 classic track of the same name and reflects how he likes to play it live. Or in Simeon’s words, ‘Mixing it Up’.

AA Side: The Edge Of Wonder Remix (9:03) by Andrew Weatherall. Additional programming and engineering Nina Walsh. Mix executed at Facility 4.

Taken from the last Silver Apples album, ‘Clinging to a Dream’, and lovingly remixed.

Mastering: Graham Sutton @dustsuckersound.

Lathe Cutting: Phil Macy @3.45RPM

Artwork & Design: This is a very special sleeve and a rare opportunity to not only own a piece of artwork by Simeon Coxe, but also that of Andrew Weatherall. A perfect marriage of art and music by two maestros not likely to be repeated. Simeon's side of the sleeve shows one of his oscillators, hand drawn by him and then silk screened at his studio in Fairhope, Alabama, USA.

Andrew's side of the sleeve is a silk screened image based on an original lino-cut by him and inspired by the photography of Nina Walsh.

Silver Apples would like to thank Andrew Weatherall for his beautiful remix and artwork.
